You are the expert on your life. Your sexuality, your identity, your gender, and your pronouns. These are all a apart of your agency. As a therapist, I care about my client’s perspective and I respect their right to self-identify. If your name changes, so be it. If one day you feel masc and another day you feel fem, so be it. Who better to experiment with gender and pronouns, than your therapist?
I use a variety of questionnaires to help clients express how they’re feeling with their body and their gender.
I write letters of surgical readiness upon request at no additional cost to the regular session fees.
